The Governor of Orissa, Mr. M.C Bhandare, inaugurated an eco- tourism complex near Joranda inside Simlipal National Park. The effort is to promote tourism & inculcate a sense of awareness & consciousness about nature amongest visitors & others.

Elephant ride has been introduced at Similipal National Park in Mayurbhanj for visitors from the season starting from 2009.
Day1:- Arrival at Bhubaneswar. Local sight seeing. Driving to puri in the evening. Night halt at Puri
Day2:- Participation / witnessing the pulling of the chariots. Night halt at Puri.
Day3:- Visit to the sun temple. Dropping at airport / hotel / railway station.
BARIPADA CAR FESTIVAL : ( 3 Days / 2 Nights)
Day1:- Arrival at Baripada. Local sight seeing. Witnessing Pahandi (the march of the deities to the chariots). Night halt at Baripada.
Day2:- Paticipating / witnessing the pulling of the chariots. Night halt at Baripada.
Day3:- Witnessing the pulling of the chariot of lady Subhadra exclusively by women. Dropping at Balasore or driving towards Bhubaneswar / Kolkata.
CHHAU FESTIVAL /CHAITRA PARAV(Baripada) april 11,12,13 : (4 Days / 3 Nights)
Day1:- Arrival at Baripada either from Kolkatta or Bhubaneswar or Balasore.
Local sight seeing.
Evening - witnessing rural dance groups performing the Chhau dance all night.
Night halt at Baripada.
Day2:-12 noon visit to Similipal National park. At Evening witnessing the world famous chhau dance by the groups categorized as Uttar sahi(North side) and Dakshin sahi(South side). Night halt at Baripada. Day3:- Driving again to the Similipal National park to the water falls of Barehipani and Joranda. Evening - witnessing the final day’s fierce competition by the two categories. Night halt.
Day4:-Dropping at Balasore or driving towards Bhubaneswar / Kolkata.
SIMILIPAL NATIONAL PARK(Mayurbhanj, Orissa) : between 15th November to 15th June : (4 Days / 3 Nights)
Day1:-Reaching at Baripada from Bhubaneswar. Transfer to hotel, evening - feel of the town and local shoping. Dinner - local / India / intercontinental cuisine.
Day2:- Driving to the Similipal National park. Night halt at Lulung.
Day3:- Forest sight seeing, driving to Barehipani and Joranda waterfalls. Visiting the 11th century AD black granite temple at Khhiching, visiting the crocodile rearing center at Ram Tirtha (near Joshipur). Night halt at
Chahala (inside the Similipal National park).
Day4:- Driving to SitaKund on the way back. Dropping at Balasore or driving back to Bhubaneswar / Kolkata .

Day1:- Picking up from Kolkata air port / railway station and driving to Joshipur refreshment at hotel. Driving to Khhiching in the early afternoon. Visit to the Ram Tirtha Crocodile rearing center on the way back. Night halt at Chahala (inside the Similipal National park).
Day2:- Jungle sight seeing including Barehipani and Joranda waterfalls. Visit to Deokund. Night halt at Lulung.

Day3:- Visiting the Sun temple(Black pagoda) at Konark, evening - enjoying the show at Rajarani temple, performed by the renowned musician from across the country, Night halt at Bhubaneswar.

Day5:- Driving to chilica. Night halt at Barakul(Chilika).
Day6:- Driving to Bhubaneswar and drop off at the airport / railway station.

Day1:- Local sight seeing, Driving to Konark in the afternoon. Refreshment at Konark and witnessing the glamorous dance show at Konark. Night halt at Konark.
Day2:- Driving to Puri, local sight seeing. Driving back to Konark for the show. Night halt at Konark.
Day3:- Driving to Chilika. Night halt at Konark.
Day4:- Day time visit of Konark sun temple sun set at Chandrabhaga. Enjoying the dance show in the evening at Konark.
Day5:- Either at Konark for the final show or dropping at Puri railway station / at Air port in Bhubaneswar.
